This became my guiding motto in Colombia where I was spending about 8 hours a day engaged in some sort of physical activity. Movement holds a special kind of magic, providing me with a sense of freedom from the chatter in my mind. It brings me peace, release, and a deeper connection with myself and those who join me in movement. Conversations with fellow movement practitioners revealed that they, too, find movement to be therapeutic, allowing for self-discovery, providing healthy coping mechanisms, and enabling deeper connection. It is a powerful tool for recovery and healing.
My journey with movement continues to evolve, and I strive to incorporate more of it into my daily life. I’m opening myself to more opportunities to create movement and experience the joy, liberation, and connection it brings.
I want to share what I have learned and encourage others to embark on and embrace their own journey of movement and self-discovery.
